error : LiS-2.18

hai all,

I got the following error with LiS-2.18.
my kernel version is 2.6.9-22.EL.


LiS-RunQ-2.18.0r4 running on CPU 0 pid=5161
streams_timod: no version magic, tainting kernel.
STREAMS module "timod" registered, id 5.

Can any one help me.

The problem is with 2.18.0. It does not do version magic on modules
properly. Also, the timod that comes with 2.18.0 is broken.

So what if the kernel is tainted? It will be tained by your proprietary
module anyway.
